Hi! I have been a mainframe programmer since 1984. I worked in South Africa.
After a few years I took a break to look after my kids, and in 1998 I came back home to Israel and started programming again.
After about 10 years I was made redundant (know the story? :))
I then learned many things, including some Japanese, internet marketing, self development and much more.
Now I found my "calling", I show people how to earn a (very) decent living from home or anywhere (even the beach or your favorite coffee shop), whenever suits them and with people they enjoy being with.

2000 - 2009I have been working with the retirement annuities team for the past 9 years.
One of my main duties was to maintain and update the online system for queries on the accounts and account holders.
The work is in COBOL, and the compueter is Unisys.
As the bank is the last company in Israel still working with it, (Unisys),all the systems are in the process of being re-written for IBM.
So as mine was also re-written and transfered to an outside company, I have now become obsolete.
If anyone has any ideas, I'll be happy to hear. I am also keen on learning new skills
